On Saturday February 10th I held my first of hopefully many meetings with constituents at Sunrise Pointe Cafe. I want to thank Deputy City Manager CHRIS PARKER for coming. Many of the questions were more easily answered by him. 

Some of the items which were brought up for discussion.

  • Waterfront Development
  • Safety Concerns with traffic and crosswalks
  • Downtown development
  • General traffic issues (especially moving forward with areas that will be under construction or marked for improvement)
  • Parking in Downtown.
  • Affordable/ attainable housing

One discussion which came up was DOVER’S FIRST IMPRESSION. How can we improve upon the impression Dover gives to visitors to our city? We have many good restaurants. We have parks and museums. We have events like Apple Harvest Day and The Arts Festival. What can Dover do to make a better 1st Impression? E-mail me your ideas! t.retrosi@dover.nh.gov

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 10. 10AM. Sunrise Pointe Cafe

Dear Dover Residents;

This Saturday, February 10th,  I will be at SUNRISE POINTE CAFE at 10:00 am to meet with any constants.   This is your opportunity to talk about things that are of concern or just to have a cup of coffee with me.  

There are many issues facing Dover this year.  This is your opportunity to  have your voice heard.

  • Affordable Housing
  • Solid Waste
  • Storm Water

Can’t make it? No problem. I will be doing this monthly.  I will also be doing an evening get together for those who cannot make a morning meeting.

My most important job is representing you.  We are lucky to live in a city with very transparent government.  All meeting agendas as well as minutes from previous meetings can be found at the City of Dover website.  You can also subscribe to THE DOVER DOWNLOAD which will e-mail you any updates you want.
